The Charles S. Cock House Museum, home of the iconic Cottage Kitchen, has been beautifully restored to welcome luncheon enthusiasts who enjoyed the Heritage Guild’s famous Friday feasts for nearly 50 years. Erected in 1867, this modest Greek Revival is the oldest remaining residential building in San Marcos.

In 2026, lunch will be served every first Thursday in February through May and August through November. These meals, which include a selection of delicious homemade desserts, are served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for just $10 per person.
