Josh Baca is a Grammy-nominated accordionist and a standout in the Tejano and Conjunto music scene. Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, he started playing accordion at five and has been refining his sound ever since. He leads Josh Baca & the Hot Tamales, a group known for blending Conjunto with Zydeco, Blues, Tex-Mex, Cajun, and Rock ’n’ Roll. Their dynamic shows earned them a spot in the Tejano ROOTS Hall of Fame in 2024. Josh’s music brings a fresh, modern edge to traditional styles, connecting with both longtime fans and new listeners.
